Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These terms and conditions aim to define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Kotreet (hereinafter "Company") and users regarding the use of services provided by the Company.

Article 2 (Nature of Service)

Kotreet is an information platform that introduces hidden gems in Korea (beauty shops, restaurants, cafes, select shops, optical stores, clothing shops, etc.), providing useful local content to both foreign and domestic users.

Article 3 (Registration and Use)

1. Both members and non-members can browse the content.

2. Review writing and reservation systems may be added in the future.

Article 4 (Content Upload)

1. Users may upload reviews, photos, etc. within the service in the future.

2. Copyright of posted content belongs to the author, and the Company has non-commercial usage rights for service operation.

Article 5 (Fees and Partnership)

1. Basic browsing is currently free.

2. Partner stores can use the following paid services.

• Basic (29,000 KRW/month): Detail page creation (SNS connection, map registration, price table design, etc.)
• Plus (59,000 KRW/month): Detail page creation + Priority listing + Kotreet video content 1/month

3. The Company may change prices or service composition according to service policy, with prior notice.

Article 6 (Copyright)

1. Copyright of user-created content belongs to the user.

2. Content directly created by Kotreet, such as translations, photos, and UI/UX, is protected as Company's work.

Article 7 (Disclaimer)

1. The Company does not legally intervene in disputes between users or between users and partner stores.

2. The Company does not guarantee the accuracy or timeliness of information in the service and is not responsible for results of user choices.

Article 8 (Refund Policy)

1. Basic Plan: A digital product with PDF files provided immediately upon purchase. Refunds are not available after purchase completion.

2. Custom Plan: A personalized service created through 1:1 consultation. Refunds are not available once the plan enters the 'In Production' stage. Full refunds are available before production begins.

3. Refund requests can be submitted via email (contact@kotreet.com).

4. In case of force majeure such as natural disasters, refund eligibility will be determined through separate consultation.

Article 9 (Jurisdiction)

Disputes under these terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and the Seoul Central District Court has jurisdiction.
